Tyler grew up in a close-knit community where every pickup game in the park ignited his love for sport. As a collegiate goalkeeper at Earlham College, he set numerous single-game, single-season, and career records, earning Defensive MVP awards and Player of the Year Honors. These achievements stand as a testament to his work ethic, dedication, and unwavering love for the beautiful game.
After graduating with bachelor’s degrees in English and Media & Communications (with a minor in Sports Management), Tyler continued his own education, pursuing a USSF D License (with his C License in progress) alongside specialized goalkeeper diplomas. He also honed his tactical acumen through the Football Coach Evolution Mentorship Program with world-renowned coach Raymond Verheijen.
